HART research on local food

fruitHART is undertaking a research project on Local Food in Lincolnshire: improving access to healthy, affordable food for all, focusing in particular on mapping a range of food outlets and ‘healthy food’ schemes in the city of Lincoln, working in collaboration with colleagues in the city and county council.  The project is also investigating the potential for reducing waste food at all stages of the food chain, linking in with colleagues in a range of organisations, including CommunityLincs. The project commenced in October 2015, and the research team comprises: Prof Jacquelyn Allen-Collinson (Director), and HART members and associates, Dr Claire Markham (post-doctoral researcher), Prof Nigel Curry (project coordinator), Mr Geoff Middleton and Dr Jennifer Jackson, together with Dr Sarah Chaudhary of Lincolnshire County Council.
