HART researcher, Professor Jacquelyn Allen-Collinson, has been involved in the 50th anniversary celebrations of Sociology, the flagship journal of the British Sociological Association. As part of the anniversary, e-Specials and podcasts have been produced, covering specific decades of the journal. Professor Allen-Collinson interviewed two leading sociological authors for the podcast series: Professor Sylvia Walby, of Lancaster University, on ‘Theorising Patriarchy’, and Professor Nick Crossley of Manchester University on ‘Body Techniques, Agency and Intercorporeality: On Goffman’s Relations in Public’.
